![]() I guess I'm just wondering if this is kinda common place thing with raw files and various software interpretations, and also what people think I should be working with etc. If i open the same raw file with windows 8 stock picture viewer then it remains as a bright vibrant picture. orf file, as the picture is coming into view, the colours are bright and vibrant, but once the picture has 'settled' the picture changes to being duller. I don't know which I prefer, I'm thinking perhaps the duller LR version is more accurate, or perhaps a better starting point? For example, I have picasa 3 set as my default jpg viewer, when clicking a raw. Orf file imported to ov3>exported as jpg (zero tinkering) Orf file imported to lightroom>exported as jpg (zero tinkering) It is not a sublte difference, please look here for samples the latest Lightroom CC introduced some impressive perspective controls. Ive read through the manual, but can anyone point to to more extensive documentation or tutorials on using this software. What i have noticed is that some applications on my windows 8 machine is interpreting raw pics quite differently. I recently got an Olympus XZ-1 camera (my first 'real' camera to be honest) and I have been shooting between jpg and raw.
